New for 2013, Bauer re-introduces the popular Reactor line from year's past in the form of the new Reactor 2000 catch glove. Built for today's "Battle-Fly" goaltenders, the Reactor 2000 trapper is well suited for today's athletic, Beginner to Intermediate level goaltender that wants a more traditional catch angle, as well as great wrist flexibility for playing the puck.
The Reactor 2000 catch glove is based off of Bauer's most requested custom glove - the "Roli Spec" glove. Closure on the palm is the traditional "thumb to index finger" closure, and both the palm and perimeter have been reinforced for durability. The Reactor 2000 also features Bauer's updated graphics package for 2013.
The pocket of the glove features deep, single T construction with nylon lacing.
The backhand of the glove features two straps - a nice, locking wrist strap and a backhand strap to help customize the fit of the hand inside the glove. The backhand cuff features a deep notch with a wide opening - also known as the Free Flex Cuff - for maximum wrist mobility.
