New for 2013, Bauer re-introduces the popular Reactor line from year's past in the form of the new Reactor 6000 catch glove. Built for today's "Battle-Fly" goaltenders, the Reactor 6000 trapper is well suited for today's athletic goaltender that wants a more traditional catch angle, as well as great wrist flexibility for playing the puck.

Bauer and Total Goalie bring you a special edition of the Reactor 6000.  The color scheme and overall display has a retro-feel with completely redesigned graphics.

The Reactor 6000 catch glove, made in Canada, is based off of Bauer's most requested custom glove - the "Roli Spec" glove.  Closure on the palm is the traditional "thumb to index finger" closure, and both the palm and perimeter have been reinforced for durability.  The Reactor 6000 also features Bauer's updated graphics package for 2013.

The pocket of the glove features deep, single T construction, and skate lacing comes standard to give the glove a nice, soft feel when catching the puck.

The backhand of the glove features three straps - a nice, locking wrist strap, a backhand strap that covers the metacarpals, and a strap over the fingers to help customize the fit of the hand inside the glove. The backhand cuff features a deep notch with a wide opening - also known as the Free Flex Cuff - for maximum wrist mobility.

  • Made in Canada
  • Skate laced single T pocket
  • Full hand closure
  • Free Flex cuff

Keys to a Proper Fit:

  • The goalie's fingers should extend out to the end of the finger stalls of the inside palm to ensure a proper fit. However, any more than 1/2" from the tip of the goaltender's finger to the end of the finger stall and the goaltender will not have the leverage needed to properly close and control the glove.

  • The heel of your hand should line up with the heel and cuff of the catcher. If not, the proper balance between the cuff and catching portion of the glove may be disturbed, making the glove too cumbersome while sacrificing protection.
