Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bauer hi lo swiss bearings arr superior I bought a set of abec 11 bearings from another company. Previouly I thought all bearing manufacturets were the same. I was sadly disappointed with the performance of these bearings. Each stride was difficult. I couldn't understand why I couldn't get the Wheels to spin on my skates. Bauer hi lo swiss bearings were rated highly on the net so I sent the others back and ordered these. Immediately I noticed a difference: they spun easily. Trips around the track were so much easier!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Smoother & Faster Not my skates - but Son's Skates - he tells me that it is night and day as we swapped out his old bearings for these new bearings in his hockey skates. Did get the cleaner kit and oil to follow up every 30 days.

I have basic zetra rollerblades, 80mm/82A wheels will these fit? Also for street blading is this hardness/size wheel ok? roll doesnt go too far SG5 rollerblade bearing. I flattened one wheel when rock got caught in brake

Asked by: RKjc
You should be good as long as the wheel has a hub size of 608. I think an 82a wheel is typically a good option for outdoor skating. We've seen outdoor wheels a little harder at 85a but you may not need something that hard. Thanks!

I have heard that Swiss bearings are great for inline blades, just below real ceramics for speed. In reading your answers to the questions here however, it seems that there is a qualification here- these Swiss bearings are different. Are these different

Asked by: Hillskater
These Swiss bearings are going to offer you better performance than high end ABEC 9 bearings. You will have a bearing that will out perform most skaters using them. Some elite level skaters will notice a difference when comparing these to a Ceramic bearing. For inline hockey, we find that the Swiss is going to be the typical choice for the top end skaters. I've worn Ceramic bearings and for inline hockey I didn't feel a big difference to really justify the price difference.

I usually play roller outdoor and I just picked up some of the Bauer S19street wheels from you guys and I’m just looking for some decently high end bearings something that have speed but can handle the outdoors are these them? (Ty guys and stay safe :) )

Asked by: Tommy219
These would do very well but you will still need to care of the bearings because the outdoors will cause the bearings to wear. Water and dirt will affect any bearing and you would just want to make sure you are cleaning them when needed so they don't lock up and no longer roll. These are awesome bearings and have a very smooth roll. Thanks!

These would work for that too, not just roller hockey. Thanks!

How do these compare to ILQ-9 twincam bearings on my K2 Radical 90s?

Asked by: Lane60
The ILQ9 Pro that you have are some really nice bearings. The rating system is similar to that of an ABEC 9 and these are a Swiss rating so you may get a better performance in some aspects in the Bauer Swiss. Your bearings are made specifically for inline skating so you may get a different type of performance out of these.

How do these compare to abec 9? Faster? What is the highest abec available?

Asked by: Zeus33
Swiss is going to be the next step up from ABEC 9 in terms of speed and smoothness. Swiss ceramic are another step up but those are harder to find and are also quite expensive. Thanks!
