The Bauer Supreme 2S Ice Hockey Skate is the ideal skate for the elite, year-round player who demands top-end, professional-grade features but who prefers a lower price point. The Supreme 2S is the most traditionally built, pro-level skate in the new Supreme line, and will provide the elite skater an explosive stride and incredible overall performance.

  • 3-D carbon Curv® composite boot for lightweight, thermoformable performance
  • Lightweight composite outsole for torsional stiffness
  • 3-piece, 48-oz. felt tongue with metatarsal insert for comfortable protection
  • LOCK-FIT footbed for secure stability
  • Tuuk Lightspeed Edge holder for trigger-quick blade replacement
  • Tuuk LS3 (size 4-12) or LS2 (size 1-3.5) stainless steel runners for extreme durability and ultimate bite

The 2S includes many upgrades over the S29. The boot quarter package is made with Bauer’s sturdy and durable 3-D carbon Curv® composite material. The carbon Curv composite is extremely lightweight, an upgrade over the S29’s fiber composite+ boot. The 2S boot is fully thermoformable and shapes to the entire foot for a customized fit right out of the box, providing all the pro-level support the elite athlete has come to expect from a top-end Bauer skate. The tendon guard is flexible, allowing for superior stride extension for maximum power.

The outsole on the 2S is made with a lightweight composite material. When combined with the carbon Curv composite quarter package, the skate provides outstanding torsional stiffness—the outsole and boot’s twisting action—a feature relished by aggressive, high-performing skaters who know their stride and push their skates to the limit.

The Supreme 2S features a 3-piece, 48-oz. reflex tongue made of high-density foam beneath a layer of durable felt for superior comfort and stability. The injected metatarsal guard insert provides great flex and protection to the skater’s foot from impacts and lace bite. Inside the boot, lightweight memory foam ankle pads lock in the skater’s heel to dramatically reduce power loss when striding. The LOCK-FIT lining material in the 2S optimizes durability, comfort, and grip. The 2S footbed utilizes LOCK-FIT technology for the stable fit aggressive players need to play their best hockey.

The Supreme 2S also features the Tuuk Lightspeed Edge holder and Tuuk stainless steel runners. The 2S runners vary between LS3 and LS2 models depending on the skate size—sizes 4-12 use the LS3 and sizes 1-3.5 use the LS2. The Lightspeed Edge steel holder is the most popular holder in the NHL today due to Tuuk’s innovative trigger-release system that lets skaters change their blades in mere seconds. Faster changes mean more time on the ice and less time on the bench.

Bauer’s Supreme 2S skate is quite possibly the best skate on the market for highly active, elite skaters looking for professional-level features at a price that won’t send their wallet to the penalty box.

SENIOR Hockey Skates
Senior hockey skates are sized to fit adults and full grown teenagers with a Men's US shoe size of 7 or greater.

JUNIOR Hockey Skates
Junior hockey skates are sized to fit kids in the range of approximately 8 to 12 years old with a US shoe size of 2 to 6.5.

YOUTH Hockey Skates
Youth hockey skates are sized to fit toddlers and young children in the age range of approximately 9 years old and younger with a US youth shoe size of 1.5 or smaller.

*Female Skaters*
The difference between men's shoes and women's shoes is 1.5 to 2 sizes. So, if you wear size 9 women's shoes, that translates to a men's size 7.5 or 7.0, which would put you in a size 6 senior hockey skate. More simply put, go 3 sizes down from your women's shoe size in order to find your hockey skate size.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great skate Was able to get a pair really early, been playing multiple games a week for about a month. Baked the boot and put insoles in when I bought them (my feet need insoles). The boot is nice and stiff, the skate provides a lot of feed back/feel. LS3 Runners hold a great edge, and the boot fit is snug like a glove with a nice deep heel pocket. Overall, high quality skate with great features at a fair price. I would recommend them to my friends.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great fit and support. I bought these for my son (bantam) a month ago. He's really happy with them. He's had Supreme skates in the past and loved them, so we stuck with this line. He feels that they give him excellent support and control in his skating, especially for tight turns, stops and cross overs. His feet fit the Supreme line really well and he said they felt broken in from the fist time he skated in them. No pain at all. They cost more than I believe is reasonable to spend on a growing kid's skates, but I also know he'll use them 5 days a week over the next year, which is how I post-rationalize this purchase ;)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great skates, great service I normally don't write reviews, but these are really good skates and I had a great time buying them. We went to the Bauer Experience in Bloomington, MN and wound up accidentally working with the manager (I think his name was Greg?). He wouldn't push us up or down if we didn't want, he helped me understand what I'm getting or losing with each pair, and I left feeling like I got the right thing for me. The skates work great. Very protective without sacrificing any agility or speed. Highly recommend.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Light and angile I have 5 games on these skates (Purchased at the San Jose store) I am please, the felt on the tongue could be thicker as I was in Graf Ultras before, which have a wicked thick felt on the tongue. However, all and all I am very pleased with the stiffness and agility of these skates.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bauer 2S Senior Skates So far so good. Took me a couple skates to be ok with them and a couple more before I loved them. Took a slap shot off the ankle the other day and I could feel it, but protection was great and I skated on. Super light and I honestly feel a little quicker with them. I almost went with the cheaper skates and I’m glad I didn’t. Definitely buy them if you can or save up a little longer until you can afford them!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid Skate With Some Tweaks Needed I bought these skates after my old Easton E40 blade broke in half. Having not worn Bauer skates in many years, I tried the Vapors, Supremes and Nexus styles. The Supremes were for my foot the most comfortable on the ankle, with the tongue, and arch support. Once baked, they fit perfectly as a size 9.5 EE. The boot was instantly comfortable on the ice with little need for any break in period. What needed an adjustment was I was not aware that most older skates had a 9' radius on the blade, and these were a 10' radius. When I first got on the ice to test them, I was constantly toe picking and had a tough time with my natural stride and I couldn't figure out why. I had them re-profiled to a 9' radius and then everything was perfect. So just keep this in mind if your blade radius is something you are specific or picky about. For down the line, my only general concern with these composite boots is how much wear and tear they will take from blocking shots, stick slashes, etc compared to the older style of plastic and cloth boots.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Comfort and performance Coming from wearing Vapors the last ten years or so I wanted something a little more plush and comfortable. Considered Graf but dealer support is very thin, even here in Michigan. SIZE- I wear and 9 shoe and actually went down 2 full sizes to a 7 D in the Supreme. The staff recommended a EE width based on foot scan but the D was fine with no pinching or hot spots and toes just brushed the cap. COMFORT - Well these felt really good before baking so I knew they were gonna be really comfortable skates. I also tried on some Tacks and by the way and even tho it was a close call, the Supremes were a touch better fit. I also love the thick tongue on these and the deep, secure fit. After baking went to play the next day. No break in period, no issues. PERFORMANCE - Well, Ive had a good 1/2 dozen skates so far and i think they are just amazing. Im just lacing tight through the middle and leaving the top loose where you can get a finger in between the bow and the tongue and flex and support is great. One thing also I havent messed with the contour/profile. When they were sharpened I had him blend a little off the toe but kept the stock profile for now which I believe is a 10'. That took a little to get used to coming from the 9' on my Vapor but i like it better so far. Straight away speed, acceleration and coasting with the puck at higher speed is better no doubt. Actually everything feels better, backwards..turns...I think Im keeping the 10' on these. To sum it up very happy owner here, dont hesitate to buy these if they fit your foot type!

Just bought the Bauer 2S and I love them but..... The blade on my left skate is loose. I don't notice it when skating yet, but I hear it clicking when I step off the ice. Is there a quick fix?

Asked by: jimandbebe
Could be a few different things but it's too difficult to problem solve online. Please come on into your local Pure Hockey if you are close by. Thanks!

i wear bauer 1s skates and im looking for some new skates and im wondering if the stiffnes will be like the 1s skate because i like top of the line for the stiffness but i do not like the injected eyelets so would these be a better buy rather than customs

Asked by: jacob1903
These would be perfect for you. Top end performance with some different specs offered to compliment what's offered on the 2S Pro. Both skates are elite level skates but one player may go with one or another based on the stock specs like a specific tongue, eyelet system, liner. The steel is different but that can easily be changed if need be. Thanks!

I used to only wear Supremes. I owned the 5000's, the 7000s, one100's and finally the 1s. I sold my 1s skates due to being too stiff and uncomfortable. Would you consider the 2s closer to to the older fit/comfort level than the 1s?

Asked by: Jay95
The 2S and 2S Pro are going to be very stiff and I would expect you to run into a similar issue if you didn't like the 1S. The top end models are going to try and be as stiff as they can to offer as much support that type of player would require. If you like a softer skate you may want to consider a boot like the S29 in the Supreme line. Those are still quite stiff but not as stiff as the 1S or 2S skates. Thanks!

I would like to try on two sizes then return one, unused. What's your return policy on this? How is the return shipment fee handled?

Asked by: JPWard
Buying two sizes to return the one(s) that don't fit is something we do every day! We can either return in-store, if you are local to one, or you can ship it back. We currently do not have free return shipping so it would be on the customer to ship that back. Thanks!
