The 2S includes many upgrades over the S29. The boot quarter package is made with Bauer’s sturdy and durable 3-D carbon Curv® composite material. The carbon Curv composite is extremely lightweight, an upgrade over the S29’s fiber composite+ boot. The 2S boot is fully thermoformable and shapes to the entire foot for a customized fit right out of the box, providing all the pro-level support the elite athlete has come to expect from a top-end Bauer skate.
