The Supreme 3S Pro Skate is offered in Bauer's new Performance Fit System and it’s designed for the skilled player who wants added comfort. It features a 3D Curv Composite Boot that’s lightweight, fully thermoformable and gives you more flex. Combined with the power boot cut, asymmetrical toe cap and additional stiffness in the lower portion of the boot, this skate adds stability and delivers more straight-line speed.

The power boot cut has a new shape throughout the eyelets for optimal foot stability and will increase your knee bend to help maximize stride length. A Reflex Classic Pro Tongue with molded inserts gives you a customized fit for a greater forward flex and more comfort. The skate features a premium LS Pulse blade with a high mirror finish for better durability and longer edge life. This blade also has increased height AND Bauer's new Power Profile*, which helps the player maintain speed and have a more aggressive stride. With a Flex Rating of 80, it is the second stiffest boot in the line for optimal support and stability for the player.

Bauer’s Power Profile
Bauer’s Power Profile is a 4 Zoned Radii, known as a Quad profile. The blade shape is designed with 4 zones uniquely placed and designed for specific performance improvements during all types of edge work.
  • The first zone, located near the toe of the runner, is shaped to maximize acceleration. As the player begins their stride, the weight shifts over the top of the toes for the initial drive into the ice, utilizing a 6 foot radius.
  • The second zone, known as the transition zone, sits on a 9 foot radius, which helps transition the players stride from rapid acceleration to measured, longer striding. The center of gravity shifts slightly back from the Acceleration stride.
  • The third zone, is the speed zone. Leveraging an 11 foot radius, the player is now maximizing their blade to ice contact for an efficient power transfer and straight line speed.
  • The final zone, towards the heel of the blade, is the stability zone. This area holds a 13 foot radius, the longest in the blade, to provide balance as players shift between their edges when pivoting and absorbing contact.

SENIOR Hockey Skates
Senior hockey skates are sized to fit adults and full grown teenagers with a Men's US shoe size of 8 or greater.

Intermediate Hockey Skates
Intermediate hockey skates are sized to fit kids in the range of approximately 10 to 13 years old with a US shoe size of 5 to 7.

JUNIOR Hockey Skates
Junior hockey skates are sized to fit kids in the range of approximately 8 to 10 years old with a US shoe size of 2 to 4.5.

YOUTH Hockey Skates
Youth hockey skates are sized to fit toddlers and young children in the age range of approximately 9 years old and younger with a US youth shoe size of 1.5 or smaller.

*Female Skaters*
The difference between men's shoes and women's shoes is 1.5 to 2 sizes. So, if you wear size 9 women's shoes, that translates to a men's size 7.5 or 7.0, which would put you in a size 6 senior hockey skate. More simply put, go 3 sizes down from your women's shoe size in order to find your hockey skate size.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great skates! Purchased the 3s Pro for my 2nd year squirt and he loves them. After baking they fit really well and had very short break-in period. These are an upgrade from last year when he had the Supreme Matrix. Son said these are the best skates so far - that seems to be expected since every new skate has been an upgrade for the past 4 skates. Now the problem is he is thinking next year's skates will be the Ultra-Sonics. I know the skates don't necessarily make the skater, but he does seem to be skating better and has more confidence - both of which are more due to his increased experience.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from New platform sizing The 3S Pro skates have been ideal for my son at age 13. He had no issues with the break-in process with no soreness whatsoever. The price is a bit high but now these skates come in 3 different size platforms for a wider & higher feel to the foot, creating comfort.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bauer Supreme 3S It took him about 15 minutes to get used to the blades but they are super light and he lives them

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Bauer 3S pro Good skates for the money, had to bake them twice, seem to be lighter than the 2S pro we had before, I like how Bauer went back to a traditional Eye lid lace hole my other ones broke within 4 months of use. My only criticism is Bauer eliminated the vent holes on the bottom of the boot, they only have them on their top model, for players who practice 2/3 times per week it would help release moisture from the interior of the boot and prolong the life of the boot.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very happy! Purchased the 3S Pro for my 12 year old son to replace his Nexus 2N EE skates. His feet are pretty wide, the new Bauer FIT3 seems a little bit narrower than old Nexus EE, but it still fits pretty well. The runners are coated with something shinny, so deburring with stone is not an option. It still works fine without deburring, or gently with a leather strop. Overall, very happy with the new skates.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from not equivalent to nexus in EE Sadly Fit 3 is not equivalent to nexus in EE. These skates are narrower tha i like and I will likely have to have them punched out. Unimpressed with the profiled blade...i like the black series blades better. Skate itself is nice but they are not breaking in as quickly as i would like

Rated 2 out of 5 by from mediocre at best This was my first pair of Bauer's and I had to take them back. I got wicked lace bite from these and nothing was helping. As for fit, it was marginal at best. I have a wide foot and the fit 3 still put more pressure on sides of foot than I like. Going back to CCM.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Proper fit Make sure to try these on to get best width fit. Fit 2 was prescribed by fit machine but fit 3 felt best. Great skates!

For the price - would you go with the 2S Pro since it was a higher end model or the 3S Pro?

Asked by: VGK123
If the option to choose the correct size in both models is available, we would typically go with the 2S Pro since it was the top end model when that year Supreme skates came out. It's been replaced by the Ultrasonic and it's hard to compare a sale top end model to a second pricepoint down in the new line despite the price being the same/similar. Thanks!

Which skate would you recommend this or the 2S Pro?

Asked by: VGK123
Both are awesome skates but comparing these two models isn't exactly fair. The 2S Pro model was the top end skate at the time and would be closer in comparison to the Ultrasonic boot. The 3S Pro skate would be closer in comparison to the 2S skate. The 2S Pro is a great value at it's current price and it might be a good steal!
