The Supreme F40 shoulder pads feature an anatomical design that naturally contours to the body, creating a close-to-the-core fit that enhances power and responsiveness in every movement. This streamlined profile is paired with a low-profile shoulder cap and a full-coverage molded rib wrap for increased on-ice protection. The result is a balanced combination of the protection and mobility players need to move freely and perform at their best.

 

For added protection in the F40 shoulder pads, Bauer integrates molded PE foam in the spine, a fully coverage molded vest with an extended belly pad, and an integrated molded sternum. This low-profile design helps guard against pucks, slashes, and other on-ice impacts.

 

For the interior of the F40 shoulder pads, Bauer uses their sublimated Thermomax Sub liner. This technology, while not at the level of the top-of-the-line Thermocore Zero, still offers a comfortable feel while helping to dry out the pads faster in between sessions so they are always ready to go.

 

While the Supreme F40 shoulder pads are built for the casual player, those in this category who skate a couple times per month can still upgrade to a higher-level model like the Fuse if they want top-end protection and coverage. But if they are looking for a good combination of value and performance, the F40 shoulder pads prove to be a great option.
