For the top-of-the-line FUSE, Bauer elevates the fit with an ErgoDynamic kneecap that offers a deeper, more secure feel. A DCT memory foam comfort pad placed in the center of the kneecap enhances cushioning while helping absorb impact away from the joint.

 

A standout feature of the FUSE shin guards is the AMP hinge kneecap, designed to promote natural, unrestricted movement. To further enhance flexibility and comfort, Bauer added the X-Flex shield, which incorporates a hinged flex point where the shin guard meets the skate tongue. This allows the guard to move with you, improving mobility without sacrificing protection or feeling restrictive.

 

For protection, the shin guards feature HD foam in the thigh area, along with CURV Composite and dense foam in the calf. This combination helps shield you from pucks, slashes, and other impacts during play while maintaining a lightweight feel.

 

The FUSE shin guards also include a new strapping system. Bauer uses a Comfort Lock strap at the top along with a V-shape calf strap to secure the shin guard to your leg, helping you get the most out of its protection and performance.

Inside the shin guard, Bauer includes a removable comfort liner with molded air channels and Skate Zone technology for enhanced airflow, comfort, and protection.
