The Bauer Vapor APX2 Shin Guards are the pinnacle of the Vapor line in 2014. They feature all of Bauer's top technologies from the 37.5™ Technology to the AeroLite™ Foam. The goal of the Vapor line and tapered fit is to give you a close, lightweight, comfortable fit without sacrificing any protection. The Vent Armor composite is featured on the shell, which is lightweight, but the Aerolite™ Foam is really whats saving weight here. Aerolite™ is around 30% lighter than other high-density foams, and just as protective. Also, it doesn't absorb water like other HD foams. And speaking of moisture, Bauer's brand new 37.5™ technology is featured in the liner of these pads, as it is in the entire APX2 line. The 37.5™ technology manages moisture by helping for it to evaporate during gameplay!
