The Vapor X2.5 fit is enhanced through a one piece 3D Polycarb quarter package and a TPR outsole. The quarter package provides a solid fit in the ankle and heel and offers good comfort for the beginner or casual player, while the outsole gives the skate more flexibility for ease-of-use, an important feature for the new hockey player who might not yet need a very stiff boot for performance. 

Inside the boot, Bauer includes memory foam padding around the ankles for increased support. This material gives you the feel you want in a key area, helping to keep you comfortable as you develop your skills on the ice. And the microfiber liner, also found in the X2.7 model, offers added comfort throughout the skate.

The X2.5 also includes a 30-oz. felt tongue for increased protection and comfort at the top of the skate; the Lightspeed Pro II holder to lock in your blade; and the Tuuk S stainless steel runner for added durability.
