The quarter package of this skate features 3D Lasted Curv Composite, an upgrade from the previous model. The benefits of this construction are a lighter boot, more durability, and thermoformability for a more customized fit. Inside the boot, Bauer combines Comfort Edge and Memory Foam padding for added support.

The Vapor X4 RH skate includes a sublimated liner and Bauer’s Form Fit footbed. The liner is designed for a soft feel and holds moisture management properties to help wick sweat away and keep the foot locked in place. Additionally, the footbed is lined with memory foam to give optimal comfort feel as soon as you step in the skate.

The tongue in this skate is a pro stock 40oz felt tongue with an insert for solid protection, comfort and flexibility. Under the boot, a Digi Comp outsole supports Accelerator Aluminum chassis. This frame uses a Hi-Lo wheel setup, giving the skater an increased attack angle for more speed and control. Skates sized 6-12 will use 76mm and 80mm wheels, Skates sized 4-5.5 use 68mm and 72mm wheels. 

Speaking of wheels, you will find Labeda Gripper Crossover on this skate. The Gripper wheels were the first hockey wheels to bring the Flex Technology to inline hockey with its smaller core design that allows the urethane to flex to maximizing grip and speed.

The Bauer Vapor X4 inline skate is tailored for performance-level players, offering some top-end features at a more budget friendly price compared to the HyperLite 2 model.
