CCM incorporates floating compressed EVA foam in the calf, a lightweight material that enhances protection for maximum impact. Near the ankle, extra abrasion resistance is added for those pesky skate tongues. The thigh area is also equipped with molded EVA foam and attached to the knee liner for a more secure fit and improved safety.

 

The kneecaps use JDP material with an adjustable comfort knee pad. The JDP kneecap construction helps to disperse impact force away from the knee joint. Meanwhile, the shin cap is made from perforated PE foam and PE plastic, with multiple ventilation ports for optimal breathability.

 

For the attachments, the FT8 uses a two-strap system - an upper lock strap with comfort cushion and a length adjustable calf strap. The upper strap locks the top of the pad in place for a secure feel, while the bottom strap offers customization based on personal preference for how you want the pad to feel, offering the ideal snug fit.  

 

Inside the pad, CCM features the AER-TEC suspension system mesh liner, treated with polygiene to help keep you cool and your shin guards dry.
