90 Day Satisfaction Guarantee on CCM Tacks 9060 Ice Hockey Skates.
The CCM Tacks 9060 ice hockey skate offers impressive high-end features for its price point, giving it exceptional performance-level value for the beginner or intermediate skater. The 9060 is much more comfortable than last year’s skate, with an improved fit, better performance, and increased durability.
The CCM Tacks 9060 is upgraded with the SpeedBlade 4.0 blade holder and removable SpeedBlade runners. The holders boast CCM’s SpeedRib technology, a unique construction that harnesses the power of triangles for better energy transfers through each stride, thanks to improved rigidity. The holder connects to an injected, concave outsole. Though an injected plastic, it’s very stiff and includes an exhaust vent that allows moisture and sweat to escape the boot for a dry on-ice feel and a reduced off-ice dry time. The 9060 still comes with a nylon midsole, but the MetaFrame technology is a big upgrade for a skate at this price point. The skate now offers a much better anatomical fit, and the SpeedCore I foam helps the skater enjoy an excellent off-the-shelf fit. The shell is a synthetic composite material for a stiffer and lighter-weight feel than in the 9050 model. The overall skate is more durable this year, with double-stitched eyelets, better eyelet facing, and an upgraded toecap. The tendon guard also benefits from double stitching and is a little more rigid for improved longevity. The tongue is still a 7mm, two-piece, white felt model, but the center-injected foams are thicker and will form to the foot when baked. This means better comfort and increased protection from pucks, slashes, and lace bite. The Tacks 9060 comes with CCM’s soft, brushed microfiber liner, which does an admirable job wicking away unvented moisture. The skate now features DuraZone abrasion patches that help prevent wear for players who position their shin guards under the skate tongue. The 9060 footbed is CCM’s Anatomical Response model, with a thick layer of foam for comfort. The bed includes center venting that works with the outsole vent for increased airflow and additional moisture release. The Tacks 9060, like all Tacks skates, is a medium-volume skate. Individuals with standard toe and forefoot widths, and a standard heel depth, will appreciate the fit and feel of skates in the Tacks line. For an affordably priced, performance-level skate, the CCM Tacks 9060 offers an impressive number of features the beginner or intermediate-level skater will love. And this year’s upgrades and elite-level features make the 9060 an excellent value.

JUNIOR Hockey Skates Junior hockey skates are sized to fit kids in the range of approximately 8 to 12 years old with a US shoe size of 2 to 6.5.
YOUTH Hockey Skates Youth hockey skates are sized to fit toddlers and young children in the age range of approximately 9 years old and younger with a US youth shoe size of 1.5 or smaller.
*Female Skaters* To find your hockey skate size, it's best to choose skates that are 2.5 to 3 sizes smaller than your women's shoe size. For example, if you wear a women's size 8 shoe, you'd need a size 5 or 5.5 skate.
