The vented anatomical shell allows air to flow through the shin guard to keep you cool throughout the game. The deep molded cap is designed to keep your knee locked inside the shin guard and keep the shin guard in place. There is a 2 strap system securing the shin guard in place and with extended calf wrap your calves are protected.
