The wood-constructed shaft provides you with sheer responsiveness, allowing you to receive passes and move up the ice without losing the puck.  Hacks and slashes won't slow you down, either, as the Pro 1000 is extremely durable.

The fiberglass blade allows for less torquing, letting you rip shots right to your target with pinpoint accuracy.  The durability does not end at the shaft---fiberglass blades are very difficult to split or crack.
