Rated 5 out of 5 by from The tiles are great but order them elsewhere. The tiles themselves are very nive, I got some glide spray and they worked amazng. They look great in 'the cave' that we are building in the basement and they are pratical too. I like the stick handling balls better, but my partner likes the pucks. He got his skates sharpedened recently and they are cutting into the tiles a bit (he's a big dude 6'3 235lbs+), but I have had no issues. I would recoment the tiles themselves. I ordered ten boxes from Pure Hockey, I picked three of them up in store and the rest of them were shipped to me. Two of the shipped boxes were missing tiles and while Pure Hockey said they were getting me the replacement tiles it had been weeks.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Training, Prepare for a mess So far, we have skated, stick handled and shot from our Synthetic Ice tiles about a dozen times. My son and I are goalies. The surface, for sliding, is great for building strength in the push. The surface, I would equate to the ice at the end of about 45 min of can slide, but there is a decent amount of resistance. With the skates, we have produced a significant amount of plastic shavings. By sliding with the goalie pads, the static produced keeps the shavings basically stuck on your equipment and clothing. My wife was not thrilled with us using them in the house! So far, we are loving the product, and should probably order more!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for practicing off ice I used these tiles at my buddy’s house and it was a really cool idea to be able to practice skating and puck handling. I wish they were cheaper though but overall really cool product in my opinion!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great fro the Backyard These tiles are exactly as advertised. They provide a great surface for the kids to shoot from. They use real pucks on it and it slides perfectly.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not enough for the $$$ I'm happy with the tiles themselves. But I have now spent $700 and I still need at least double the amount of tiles for it to be worthwhile. I could have spent the $ on a summerhouse for less

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't recommend Bought a box to try out. Planning on laying the entire basement floor with synthetic ice. This stuff is not worth the money. Puck does not react naturally at all. Even a green biscuit didn't track well. Puck would roll over constantly. Very difficult to skate on. I know it's not ice, but this stuff was not even close to it. I am looking into other manufacturers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth the price This is our second set of 10 purchased at Pure Hockey. These are great for stickhandling, shooting, and passing. We are slowly stocking up to have a little sheet for our kids. Friction isn’t the same as ice, but we have noticed a huge positive difference between these tiles with real pucks and street picks on smooth concrete.

If a goalie is to use these over time will it wear down the goalies pads and wreck them and would it still do this with a pad cover

Asked by: Nickev3
We've seen goalies train on these with and without pad covers on. We may suggest wearing the covers if you have them just to be extra safe. Thanks!

Why is there not discounting for purchases of more than one box at a time? I am guessing the person who manufactures the tiles provides this and you want to sell more units, correct? This would be a nice benefit for customers who are looking to buy more..

Asked by: ncsmith_123
we as a company do not set the prices you see on our website for the HockeyShot tiles . The HockeyShot company sets the prices for our company for what they allow us to sell their products . This is called MAP pricing policy ...

Few questions here for you: 1) there's 10 pieces in a package correct?2)What the total square footage this covers? 3)Can these 10 pieces be laid any way or do you have to position them in a cube type arrangement?

Asked by: ncsmith_123
the cases sold each contain (10) tiles and each til is 18"x18" . You can base your design off of of this information

Would the 10 pack but good enough for a senior goalie to practice butterfly slides? I know it’ll be rough and the slide won’t be as good I just don’t want to get the 10 pack and have no room to slide anywhere.

the tiles are 18"x18" each and come 10 per pack so you can base your needs off these measurements as everyone's preferences will; be different

How many boxes would I need to cover a cement slab of 20ft x12ft? And can they be cut?

Asked by: Joe Sap
Based on the tile calculator HockeyShot was nice enough to provide it appears 112 tiles would be the magic number. We haven't seen anyone cut them so we may not suggest that unless you were confident in your ability in doing so. Thanks!

How easy are these tiles to break down? We would have to break them down after every use.

Asked by: Mro1
They are fairly simple to break down. Take it slow and make sure you don't break any of the connector pieces.

My garage floor has cracked on the freeze joint and therefore is not perfectly level from one slab to the next. Will this flex score that little hump and not come apart at the interlocks?

Asked by: DarbTtocs
HOCKEYSHOT SYNTHETIC ICE REVOLUTION TILES work best on a complete flat , even all around surface - anything that is not perfectly flat the tiles will not fit flush together and break apart
