The Mission Inhaler FZ-5 inline skate is a performance-level option for the player looking for solid performance features at a great value.

  • Labeda Union wheels for enhanced skating
  • HI-LO Aluminum chassis for a balance of speed and control
  • Fiber Composite outsole for greater striding
  • Reinforced true-form tech PU quarter for good stiffness
  • Anatomical 2-piece tongue for increased comfort

Mission has matched this performance level-model with high-end wheels, giving the FZ-5 a boost in skating features. The FZ-5 comes with Labeda Union wheels, also found in the FZ-3. These are built for the player who enjoys a fast wheel with great stopping power. Mission accomplishes this by using a large injection molded core for flat out speed, and a soft compression apex ring for maximum grip and unmatched edge to edge feel.

These wheels are partnered with the HI-LO Aluminum chassis. This frame gives you a unique skating angle, with two 76-mm wheels in the front and two 80-mm wheels in the back, allowing you to get the benefits of both small and large wheels at the same time. Junior sizes 1-2 have two 59mm wheels in the front and two 68mm wheels in the back. Junior sizes 3-5.5 have two 68mm wheels in the front and two 72mm wheels in the back. The result is a chassis that offers an excellent balance of speed, power, and control. These features are further enhanced with the fiber composite outsole and HI-LO ABEC 7 bearings.

The FZ-5 includes Mission’s true-form tech PU quarter package, also found in the Inhaler FZ-3. This boot includes new quarter ventilation and an abrasion guard, offering you a dry and lightweight feel as well as added protection, comfort, and stiffness. The boot also includes a felt liner and has a thermo-adjustable upper, giving you the feel you’re looking for from a skate at this price point.

The boot also includes a new, anatomical 2-piece tongue with felt insert. This feature provides increased comfort at the top of the skate and offers a unique, personalized feel due to its anatomical construction.

If you’re a performance-level inline player, the Inhaler FZ-5 proves to have the proper boot stiffness, skating profile, and technological features to fit your game.

SENIOR Hockey Skates
Senior hockey skates are sized to fit adults and full grown teenagers with a Men's US shoe size of 7 or greater.

JUNIOR Hockey Skates
Junior hockey skates are sized to fit kids in the range of approximately 8 to 12 years old with a US shoe size of 2 to 6.5.

YOUTH Hockey Skates
Youth hockey skates are sized to fit toddlers and young children in the age range of approximately 9 years old and younger with a US youth shoe size of 1.5 or smaller.

*Female Skaters*
The difference between men's shoes and women's shoes is 1.5 to 2 sizes. So, if you wear size 9 women's shoes, that translates to a men's size 7.5 or 7.0, which would put you in a size 6 senior hockey skate. More simply put, go 3 sizes down from your women's shoe size in order to find your hockey skate size.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from quarantine godsend I played roller-hockey as a kid, then didn’t touch blades again for over a decade. When the pandemic hit and gyms closed, I was so excited to jump back in. Missions had the best cost/quality available in a size fitting for my wide feet. I get positive comments all the time on the skate + wheel colors, too. I love the vents to keep my feet breathing. I even skate in windy winter conditions with my normal socks and it feels fantastic. I just ordered a pair of replacement wheels for the two that I have worn down to the rims. It’s important that you move em around to get long lasting wheels. They are so smooth and fast at first; I love these blades!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Smooth-Fun-Fast!! My last pair of skates were Bauer H3 (Were talking 1990's boot), what did I know about comfort. Could never afford MISSIONS. 25 years later (This week) I purchased these hockey skates and out the box that look if not better then the picture. I laced them up right out the box and put 5 miles on them. Very Smooth, responsive and fast!!! Little arch discomfort due to poor lace up job, tightened them up and I was back at it! I will be getting them heat molded and adding my own insoles and that would take these next level!! Stiff boot, color scheme is great! Also!!FAST SHIPPING!! Ordered them on March 26th and received them 4 days later on regular shipping! I was very surprised and happy for early arrival.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Pair of Skates! I purchased a pair of these primarily because they looked cool. I tried them on at my local Pure Hockey and thought they had decent ankle support and were fairly comfortable. That same night I went to my local roller rink and did some damage in these. First, the boot...the sizing is a bit different compared to my other pair of Bauer Vapor X300R’s. For reference, I’m a 9 in the Vapors, a 9.5 in my CCM Ribcore ice hockey skates, and I fit perfectly in an 8.5 in these. Incredible ankle support and heel-lock, but surprisingly comfortable even after a few hours of continuous hard skating. The Inhaler toe cap and side vent are like a mini air conditioner for your feet. The faster I skate, the cooler my feet are! Really thick tongue with exterior padding kills lace bite. The boot is awesomely stiff, which makes me more confident when I bend my ankles down for a sharp-angled stride or turn. On top of this, they look SWEET! Next, the chassis...nice and lightweight. The hi-lo wheel set up (80’s in the back, 76’s in the front) help to give you a quicker stride from heel to toe. Pretty durable, but not much else to say. The Labeda Union wheels. Super soft and sticky, perfect for an indoor rink. Not meant to be used outdoors. You’ll destroy them really fast. LOTS of grip, and paired with the bearings make for a really fast and smooth stride. Plus mint green paired with the boot makes it look even better. My Vapors are a really good pair of skates, and at first, I couldn’t fathom if $300 for these was worth it. After putting about 6 hours of rink time on them, I think these are worth the extra money. This model puts focus on the little details and make for a really fast and sweet ride!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fit great - Durability is questionable These are for my 13 yo son who wears them every day. He needed a wider boot than the Bauer could provide. (Wears Bauer Supreme for ice hockey) He likes the fit of the boot and with the wheels replaced these are perfect for outside. One week into wearing them I question the durability as the "skin" on the boot has already torn off on the inside of the heel. It is not one solid boot like the Bauers. Would buy them again for the fit and performance only.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great skate for the price Great mid level rollerblade for kids. My son loves them. Decent enough stiffness and support. Only draw back is they come with extra soft wheels which need to be replaced for outdoor use which is an additional cost. The wheels it comes with seem great for indoor use. Have come in handy for training during social distancing and rink closures.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AWE! SOME! These skates are GREAT! Do not be concerned the they run wide sized. I do not have a wide foot and they are comfortably snug. I've had these skates for about a week now and they're breaking in wonderfully. Light as a feather and great on price.

What size should I get as a woman's US size 8? Also, is this fit for urban skating?

Asked by: alsuzanne
the general rule of thumb for women's sizing is you measure 2 to 3 sizes down from your shoe/sneaker size for the proper inline boot. Everyone's foot structure is different but this is the general sizing rule . For a size 8 women's shoe may be a size 6 senior skate or a junior 5 inline skate boot. The Mission Inhaler FZ-5 inline skate is a higher performance-level inline boot ...

I wear a size 10 shoe. What size should I get for these?

Asked by: Jahmil
the general skate boot sizing rule if you go 1.5 sizes down from your shoe/sneaker size so for a senior size 10 shoe you may be a size 8.5 senior skate boot for this skate. Please bear in mind this is a general skate boot sizing rule for reference

I wear a size 9.5 Shoe, 7.5 Bauer Supreme Skate, what size boot would I need to get?

Asked by: BrettPans02
We would suggest going with the same size inline skate as your ice skate. The Mission boot fits very similar to the Bauer Supreme boot so we think getting as close to that fit would be ideal. Thanks!

Do the wheels have to be 80mm I’m back and 76mm in front? Or could you do all 80mm wheels if u wanted to

Asked by: Joe1234
This frame is made for Hi Lo so it will only work with 80mm in the back and 76mm in the front. Unfortunately you cannot use a straight 80mm wheel setup. Thanks!

My last new pair of hockey skates was a Reebok White K in a men's 9.5 EE, what size in the Mission skates would you recommend? (or if there is another make/model that would be a better, more comparable fit, I'm open to suggestions!)

Asked by: Shoresy
We will always first suggest trying to get your feet in a pair of Mission skates so you can see how they fit you. That's not always possible and we understand that. Mission does run wider than a Bauer Vapor but I think you would need to find the E width to get a good comparison to the Reebok E. Sometimes we are also in a skate that might not fit our foot as well as it should so that's why we try to suggest finding a pair to try on for reference. It doesn't have to be the same exact model but if it's one from the same line it will give us a great idea on fit. If you order a Mission and it doesn't fit the way you want, you are more than welcome to return it to us. Tour may also offer you a wider fit that you may like. Thanks!

I see that the FZ5 is only avaliable in my size but in E. I dont have a wide foot so will that make a difference?

Asked by: JayXb1
If you don't have a wider foot we may suggest considering a Bauer Vapor rather than a Mission. Mission will run wider by nature so they may not be the best fitting skate for you. Thanks!
