STX Surgeon RX2 Sr. Hockey Stick

STX might have just forever changed sticks as we know them with the RX2 Composite Hockey Stick. That's right - this isn't your cookie cutter, rectangular shaft design. For the RX2, STX introduces the PUREGRIP shaft design, which is an ergonomic shape to the underside of the shaft. The point of this innovative design is to maximize the contact between the hand and the stick, resulting in an increased level of control.

If the groundbreaking shaft shape isn't enough to sway you, this stick is also loaded with some pretty insane technology. The stick is constructed using a lightweight, high-performance 3K carbon fiber with a raised texture for improved control and grip. The PUREBLADE then uses 3K carbon fiber on the front, and 18K carbon fiber on the back to reduce weight and add to the balanced feel.

Precision Flex technology uses dual kick points - an upper kick for increased stiffness and energy load, and a lower kick for quick release and elevated responsiveness. Inside the hosel, a Nano Enhanced Resin System improves durability while Quad Core technology makes the blade strong and stiff for consistent release.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing! Got this from a friend who knows a STX Rep. Amazing feel. It forms to the shape of your hand better than a normal rectangle stick as it's shaped a bit different. Would buy again and again!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love it, so far This stick is light, comfortable in the hands, and has good puck feel. The shape of the shaft felt comfortable right away and took me no adjustment time. I cannot review durability yet, used for 3 mens games, holding up well so far.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not very durable I was excited to try out this stick I used it during a roller hockey tourney (6games) It was hit in the shaft by a puck it folded in half 2 days past warranty called stx they replaced it The replacement lasted 2weeks about 3 games it broke the same way totally not worth the money

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor durability This overpriced, hyped-up stick was perfect for about 31 days ...one day after the "warranty " expired. It couldn't survive 30 days B- Bantam Hockey. Others complained of the same issue, crack and splits at the heal of the blade . Going back to Bauer.

Does a butt end fit in the rectangular shaft?

Asked by: websnipe
A regular butt end will not fit this stick since they have the PUREGRIP ergonomic shaft design.
