When purchasing a new pair of hockey skates, it is important to focus on fit. If you’re unsure which skate line or model fits your foot best, or if you want an accurate measurement and assessment, visit your local Pure Hockey.

The Supreme M50 Pro Youth Skates are constructed for the young hockey player but still includes plenty of features found in higher-end Senior skates. The digi-comp quarter package provides good stiffness but plenty of flexibility for the developing skater who needs to stay comfortable while on the ice.

For comfort Bauer uses memory foam padding for the ankles. This feature is lightweight which increases the thermoformability of the boot thanks to its molding properties. With this material around the ankles, your young player will be comfortable, and the boot will form to his foot for a better overall fit.

Inside the skate is the Lock-Fit Pro liner. This liner offers some good grip and moisture-wicking properties, helping to secure the foot into the boot, especially in the heel area. This will help prevent the foot from sliding. With the foot secured in place, overall skating performance will be improved. To help with range of motion, Bauer includes the AMP Flex facing. This will allow mobility in the ankles, giving you more powerful strides.

At the top of the M50 Pro youth skate, Bauer includes the Reflex Classic Pro felt tongue. This tongue construction provides a lightweight, comfortable feel while also providing some good protection. Below the boot, Bauer combines the TUUK Lightspeed Pro II holder with the LS1 runners. The holder locks in the blade for good energy transfer when striding, and the LS1 runner offers solid edge life and durability.

The Bauer Supreme M50 Pro youth skate is an excellent option for players who want a top-end fit with elite features, giving them a high-performing skate with optimal comfort and durability.

*Female Skaters*
The difference between men's shoes and women's shoes is 1.5 to 2 sizes. So, if you wear size 9 women's shoes, that translates to a men's size 7.5 or 7.0, which would put you in a size 6 senior hockey skate. More simply put, go 3 sizes down from your women's shoe size in order to find your hockey skate size.
