New for 2017, the Bauer Supreme 1S Grip Composite Stick is ready to elevate your game to the next level! Built with the elite player in mind, this stick has all the features you would want in a top of the line stick. There are a couple of key improvements from the first generation Supreme 1S. The first major change from the first generation Supreme 1S is the Renew Core blade. This new blade is built to be more durable by releasing pressurized gel to fill minor internal blade cracks, ensuring you get maximum life out of the blade. The second major improvement is the Extended Transfer Zone. Basically, this makes the kickpoint more versatile so that you can get the best out of every shot! That combined with the Maximum Power Kick flex profile makes this stick a shooter's dream stick.

Beyond the new technology, Bauer also carried over some of the key technologies of the first generation of the Supreme 1S composite stick that made it one of the best performing sticks on the market. The shaft is made of Lightweight TeXtreme Construction. This lightweight carbon fiber material is the perfect balance between durability and weight reduction. The TeXtreme carbon is 20% lighter and absorbs impacts 20% better than 12k carbon used in other models. Additionally, the eLASTech resin technology ensures a more durable shaft by filling in micro-fractures and keeping them from spreading. The 2017 Supreme 1S also includes Bauer's traditional Griptac sticky finish with tactile grip. Overall, the 2017 second generation Supreme 1S stick has impressed us, and it's sure to impress you too!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Stick This is a great stick that has a lot of pop and has a very quick release. The stick generates more velocity and more accuracy.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bauer 1S Stcik - Poor Quality My 15 year old son broke four of these sticks between Christmas and mid-May 2018. All failed on a snapshot at the lower hand location. He is 5’8” and 140 pounds and used a Bauer 1S Left P92 Flex 77. His weight and height place him right in the middle of the height/weight zone recommended by Bauer for a 77 Flex stick. He loved the stick but the quality is poor. He has subsequently moved to the Bauer 1X Lite, understanding the kickpoint is different. I hope Bauer improves the quality of this stick going forward. All that said, the Pure Hockey folks at the Plano, Texas store were great in managing the warranty returns and going a step beyond when two sticks broke within a week where one was the warranty replacement that is typically not covered by the Bauer warranty.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Improved shot greatly! This stick has helped my shot improve a lot ( I was using too much flex before) . One thing I would say though is that the Toews curve kind of has a small toe so be careful when choosing that curve. It’s super light and I recommend it to anyone with some extra cash to spend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AMAZING STICK This stick is amazing when I took my shot with this I was blown off my feet on how good this stick is. I couldn’t have asked for a better stick!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from took a tiny bit of getting used to I bought this stick for my 12 year old son who formerly played with the Bauer 1S. He outgrew that stick, and this was the next step up for him. It's a bit stiffer and took some real getting used to, but now he loves it. Slapshots from just beyond the dots clock in the low 50s. Most are high 40s.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very powerful This stick is phenomenal. I tried this stick out at a pure hockey location and it felt nice but playing on the tiled floor does not do it justice. So I bought the intermediate 67 flex Kane curve. This thing is just nasty. First time using it on the ice I was sniping the corners with slap shots and my wrist shot has never been so accurate or strong before. Because of the way the stick is constructed, it seriously launches the puck. It has a soft upper shaft with a stiffened lower section that utilizes a lower kick point. This stick is great for full motion wrist/slapshots and one-timers. The blade is filled with a proprietary gel that helps with power and also fills in the cracks on the blade. I think it's very unique, because this is the only stick right now with this technology. It's almost like it's made of something that just repels rubber, seriously lol But in all this stick is truly fantastic and I highly recommend it.

Can you send me a picture of the stick that shows the specifics. We looked at some in the store that had the name eichen? On it. Probably not the right spelling for the player

Asked by: Dave1225
The Eichel name is associated to the P28 curve. This pattern is gaining a lot of popularity at the NHL level as well as the retail level. It's a more extreme toe curve with an open face. This pattern is very good for player that shoot mainly off their toe and also for players that utilize their toe for change in shot direction. Players like to keep the puck out to the side and bring it closer to their feet while applying pressure and building flex. It's not the easiest curve to use and we typically suggest starting with the P92 before moving to this curve. Thanks!

I am looking for a stick that has good control over the puck and also has enough durability for about 2 years. I am wondering if this stick will do the job

Asked by: Barrdown
Hello ..The Bauer Supreme 1S is the highest end Supreme line stick Bauer makes , great for control . This stick has the highest strength to weight ratio in teh Supreme line but there is not time table on how long sticks last since all sticks will eventually break depending on circumstances . There is no way of telling how long a stick is going to last ; depends on the playing situations .

Asked by: sebbrzosko
The 40 flex 1S stick will be 50 " in length for the Junior stick

I'm a defensemen and I don't do any scoring. I mostly just make solid passes and wrist shots from the point. Is this a good stick for me of should I consider the 1N instead?

Asked by: aghh
The 1S is definitely built more for a defenseman who uses his slap shop more often because of it's high kick point. The 1N is more of an all-around stick with a mid kick point, which may be better for wrist shots.
