Bauer’s Supreme glove line has an anatomical design, offering a comfortable, close to the hand fit with a more open cuff for freedom of movement near the wrist. For the specific construction of the Supreme 2S, Bauer includes a pro nylon mesh and cable mesh shell which keeps the gloves light and durable.
For protection, the 2S includes dual-density foams and poly inserts in the backhand for impact resistance against common hockey occurrences like blocked shots and slashes. The fingers also use dual density foams with poly inserts for added protection, and are constructed in a three-piece design for great mobility. And for the thumb, Bauer uses their two-piece flex lock technology. This construction offers good forward flexibility and restricts backward movement, providing an enhanced stick feel while also helping to prevent hyperextension of the thumb.
At the top of the glove, Bauer includes their AMP Cuff, also found in the Supreme 2S Pro model. This Active Motion cuff is constructed to maximize stick control by increasing your range of motion. The cuff moves and extends with your hand and offers room for freedom of movement, giving you the feel you’re looking for when stickhandling, passing, and shooting.
The 2S glove also includes Bauer’s Thermo Max+ liner that includes antimicrobial properties to offer you moisture-wicking comfort and a clean, dry glove everytime you hit the ice; and the AX Suede Quattro palm with comfort stretch material for a great feel, solid durability, and stretch fit zones to keep your hands comfortable while you play.
With plenty of top-end features, the Bauer 2S gloves are a great choice for the performance-level player who skates a few times per week and is looking for a comfortable and protective model at a great value.
