The Bauer Supreme 2S Pro Youth hockey gloves include a pro-level design and many high-end features tailored to the needs of young hockey players.
- Neutral fit for a comfortable feel
- Pro nylon mesh shell for an improved construction
- Segmented foam backhand for good protection
- Ergo thumb for enhanced mobility
- Grip Tech palm for increased durability
The Supreme 2S Pro Youth gloves feature many upgrades over the 2017 model, including an improved fit. While the Supreme gloves are known for their anatomical fit, Bauer chooses to use a more neutral fit in the youth model. This design still provides some of the same anatomical qualities for a comfortably snug feel, but also includes some more volume through the glove for added mobility. Bauer uses this redesign to enhance the overall comfort and feel of the 2019 model.
For the construction, Bauer includes a pro nylon mesh and cable mesh shell. This material helps to keep the gloves lightweight. And for protection in the backhand, the 2S Pro Youth gloves feature segmented mid density foam to help disperse energy from common hockey impacts like slashes and blocked shots that your young player will begin to experience as he or she skates more competitively.
The 2S Pro Youth gloves have two-piece fingers and Bauer’s Ergo thumb. The two-piece finger design offers good mobility, while the Ergo thumb provides some added protection and solid range of motion for enhanced control, great for young players who are working to improve their puck-handling.
Another upgrade for this year’s model is the Grip Tech palm. This technology complements the dark gray Nash material, providing players with the feel they’re looking for when holding their stick, while also enhancing the durability of this high-wear area for long-lasting comfort.
With these quality features and a redesigned fit, the Bauer Supreme 2S Pro Youth gloves are an excellent upgrade from the previous generation, and are a great option for developing players.
