For the top-of-the-line MACH, Bauer enhances this fit with an ErgoDynamic Lab kneecap for a deeper fit and locked-in feel. There is a memory foam comfort pad in the donut hole of the kneecap, providing comfort and absorbing impact away from the joint.

A top-level feature included in the MACH shin guards is Active Motion Protection. The anatomically molded shin cap includes AMP segmentation, providing excellent mobility. Bauer also added the all-new X-Flex shield with a hinged flex where the shin guard and tongue of the skate meet. With this added range of motion, players can skate and maneuver without feeling too restricted.

The MACH shin guards also include a top-end strapping system. Bauer uses their Comfort Lock strap at the top and a wide calf strap to secure the shin guard to your leg, maximizing its protective and performance benefits.

Inside the shin guard, Bauer includes a removeable comfort liner with molded air channels and Skate Zone technology for excellent comfort and protection. This is combined with the top-end Thermo Core liner which offers another layer of comfort while keeping your pads light during games thanks to its moisture wicking properties.
