The 2024 Bauer X youth Shoulder Pads were designed for the recreational or new-to-hockey player that is looking for something that doesn't have all the high-end technologies but will have the comfort and protection needed for playing occasionally or out on the pond.

This low-profile shoulder cap with full coverage was a popular design for this price point in the previous model, so Bauer carried it over to this year’s line. This helps keep you mobile while providing optimal protection. Speaking of protection, Bauer uses MD foam with PE inserts in the spine, molded PE in the bicep, and an injection mold in the sternum.

In the front panel, Bauer uses FlexCell comfort foam to give you protection in a key location without sacrificing mobility. The bicep includes a sleeve fit for ease of use and to make sure your shoulder pads stay locked in place. 

This shoulder pad is a great option for recreational or beginner players that don't need top end technologies but will still get the protection and comfort needed at a much lower price point.
