The Bauer XLP Adjustable youth inline skate is designed for beginner youth players to get used to a roller hockey skate and learn the sport, with technological features that will provide a good combination of comfort and support.

  • Removable Brake Arm
  • Hi-Lo Outdoor Wheels
  • Injected plastic 4 wheel chassis
  • Adjustable Toe Cap
  • The Junior Skates comes with 4 Wheels

For a new player or a skater who laces up infrequently, the quarter package of a skate is an important feature. The Bauer XLP provides a good balance of both flexibility and support, allowing you to enjoy your time on your skates. The Nylon quarter package and injected plastic outsole provides moderate stiffness, but places its focus on flexibility to help you get comfortable with your stride.

This skate is great for those just learning because of the break on the back. Your little one can feel safe and in control while they get the hang of skating. Once they are comfortable and confident the brake can be removed. Another great feature is the adjustable toe cap so the skates can be used for longer. These skates come in youth size 7-10 or 11-1. The smallest size starts at youth size 7 with the toe cap adjusting to size 10. The bigger size starts at youth size 11 and will adjust up to size 1.

The wheels on this skate are mainly for outdoor use which will allow them to last longer when using on pavement or asphalt. The chassis are made from injected plastic to keep the skates light and durable for your little one.

The XLP is a great option for a young player that is new to skating. These inline skates use trusted technologies to give you a comfortable option that will perform well as you develop your game.

SENIOR Hockey Skates
Senior hockey skates are sized to fit adults and full grown teenagers with a Men's US shoe size of 7 or greater.

JUNIOR Hockey Skates
Junior hockey skates are sized to fit kids in the range of approximately 8 to 12 years old with a US shoe size of 2 to 6.5.

YOUTH Hockey Skates
Youth hockey skates are sized to fit toddlers and young children in the age range of approximately 9 years old and younger with a US youth shoe size of 1.5 or smaller.

*Female Skaters*
The difference between men's shoes and women's shoes is 1.5 to 2 sizes. So, if you wear size 9 women's shoes, that translates to a men's size 7.5 or 7.0, which would put you in a size 6 senior hockey skate. More simply put, go 3 sizes down from your women's shoe size in order to find your hockey skate size.
