CCM incorporates floating compressed EVA foam in the calf, a lightweight material that boosts protection for maximum impact. The thigh area is equipped with PE foam and mid-density foam on the side with plastic reinforcement for added safety. 

The kneecap uses JDP construction and has an optimized anatomical geometry to disperse the impact force away from the knee joint for high level comfort and protection. The shin cap has an optimized anatomical geometry with a PE foam liner to give you a snug fit and maximum comfort.

For the attachments, the FT880 uses a two-strap system – a low-profile lock strap with comfort cushion and a length adjustable calf strap. This strapping system locks the pad in place for a secure feel and allows for customization based on personal preference for how you want the pad to fit. 

Inside the pad, CCM includes a fully removable/adjustable liner with a knee hole and ventilation ports in the shin area. The ventilation ports and sublimated lining keep your shins cool and dry, while the knee hole ensures ample comfort.
