Why is this skate for women? CCM spent time understanding women’s fit preferences with a modified shape based on what science shows the female foot needs. Key modifications are in the forefoot width area and around the heel portion. The outcome is a skate that fits close to the feet, higher arch support and a tapered heel – enabling maximum power transfer and agility. 
 
To compliment the JetSpeed FTW boot, features from the top-of-the-line FT8 Pro model like the ADPT tongue, rear tendon guard, comfort ankle pads and soft polygiene treated liner can be found in this skate to enable the performance women demand. 
 
The JetSpeed FTW boot has a 2D metaframe construction and is made from synthetic composite, providing optimal flex and superior support for maximum performance. Inside the skate is ADPT memory foam ankle pads and a TotalDri Pro liner with polygiene. The liner helps the skater’s foot resist abrasions, while the polygiene uses an antimicrobial treatment that fights odor and bacteria.
 
The molded footbed is made with memory foam that was specifically designed for female foot positioning. The arch support is higher and in an optimized location for increased comfort. 
 
In the tongue you will find the ADPT comfort with FlexMotion. CCM added a ribbed center channel to the front for a better wrap and increased protection. The FlexMotion increases comfort as it prevents lace-bite giving you better forward flexion and the perfect combination of fit and performance.
 
Rounding out this skate is the XS Speedblade holder and the STEP Steel runner. This holder has a spring-lock system that tightly secures the blade to the holder and makes swapping out blades more efficient. The high-quality STEP Steel runner provides better edge control, phenomenal glide and increased skating speed. The increased height (+4mm) gives you a better attack angle while the stainless steel provides a long-lasting edge.

SENIOR Hockey Skates
Senior hockey skates are sized to fit adults and full grown teenagers with a Men's US shoe size of 8 or greater.

Intermediate Hockey Skates
Intermediate hockey skates are sized to fit kids in the range of approximately 10 to 13 years old with a US shoe size of 5 to 7.

JUNIOR Hockey Skates
Junior hockey skates are sized to fit kids in the range of approximately 8 to 10 years old with a US shoe size of 2 to 4.5.

YOUTH Hockey Skates
Youth hockey skates are sized to fit toddlers and young children in the age range of approximately 9 years old and younger with a US youth shoe size of 1.5 or smaller.

To find your hockey skate size, it's best to choose skates that are 2.5 to 3 sizes smaller than your women's shoe size. For example, if you wear a women's size 8 shoe, you'd need a size 5 or 5.5 skate.
