When purchasing a new hockey stick, several factors should be considered to find the best model for your skill level and playing style.  To start, the kick-point is important, as it plays a crucial role in how shots and passes come off the stick. This will help overall on-ice performance and take your game to the next level. If you’re unsure which kick-point suits you best, or you’re looking for an accurate assessment, visit your local Pure Hockey store.

The kick-point on the Trigger 10 Pro has been redesigned with a lower and sharper rib on the hosel. This ultra-low kick makes loading the stick easier while maintaining the same reliability and shooting consistency from previous ribcor generations.  A staple found in CCM sticks for a while now is Skeleton+ Technology. This is designed to specifically improve the strength of the taper for a much more durable stick.

Another new feature found on this stick is the newly constructed shaft shape. The “EC” shaft includes an ergonomic grip with a rounded C-Shape mid-section for superior control and comfort. For grip, the 10 Pro uses Trigger microfeel, which is a curved raised grip to ensure perfect control.

Nanolite Shield found in the shaft is a cutting-edge technology that uses variable carbon layer thickness to create a lightweight stick without sacrificing durability. For materials in the shaft and blade, you will find Sigma ST2X. This is the next evolution of sigmatex’s carbon weave further improving manufacturing consistency to create a stronger stick.

Brand-new in the Trigger 10 Pro is the reengineered UL1 blade, designed to reduce weight and improve the balance point. It features two internal carbon bridges with regular stiffness; close to a Stiff or X-Stiff blade for Bauer. For materials you will find ST2X, a 2x2 pattern that adds strength and improves manufacturing process.

This is the first time in the Ribcor line that CCM is offering blade patterns with +1/4. This makes the blade slightly taller to provide more surface area for catching and tipping pucks.

The CCM Ribcor Trigger 10 Pro stick is built to keep up with the speed of today’s game and is an excellent low-kick option for the players who most often take quick motion shots and prefer release speed over power.
