CCM optimizes the low-kick point design in the Trigger 8 Pro stick by using Skeleton+ Technology and Ergonomic Shaft Geometry. Skeleton+ is designed to specifically improve the hosel and taper strength for a much more durable stick. For the Ergonomic Shaft CCM uses a different design in each section - the top-shaft has a rounded concave shape for increased comfort and control; the mid-shaft has a rounded convex back side combined with a square-cornered concave front for maximum dexterity; and the low-shaft has a concave front and rounded concave back, combining to offer a quick release and maximum accuracy.

For the shaft, CCM includes their new Nanolite Shield technology, which was introduced in the JetSpeed FT6 Pro stick. This reengineered shaft design is optimized with thicker carbon fiber layers that protect an ultra-light core, allowing for an impressive weight reduction. Sigma STP is also found in the shaft, which is a high-performance spread tow fabric featuring a new weaving process that provides strength and resilience.

The Trigger 8 Pro features the new Agility 3 Blade with Dual Feel technology and Sigma STP Spread Tow material. This blade includes an innovative foam insert in the heel region to drastically improve blade feel when passing and stickhandling. This, combined with the regular stiffness in the toe and the carbon weave of the STP Spread Tow, provides the iconic Ribcor quick and precise shooting.
