CCM Tacks 9080 Hockey Gloves - Junior

The CCM Tacks 9080 hockey gloves include high-end technologies and features built for the players who want excellent feel and protection but who don’t necessarily need a top-of-the-line model.
  • Anatomical construction for an enhanced fit
  • Pro selected polyester for a lightweight feel
  • Segmented flex cuff for increased flexibility
  • D30 smart material for improved impact absorption
  • Clarino palm for increased abrasion resistance
  • Polygiene-treated liner for a clean and comfortable interior
Finding the right glove for you is all about fit. CCM uses an anatomical construction which is snug around the hand and opens up toward the wrist and cuff. With this combination, these gloves will feel like an extension of your hand while also offering you the room you need to maneuver as you play. The glove construction includes pro selected polyester, a top-of-the-line material, to provide added durability and reduced weight; and a segmented flex cuff for enhanced freedom of movement, flexibility, and protection.

CCM uses their trusted D3O material in the Tacks 9080. D3O has a unique molecular structure which allows molecules to flow freely before impact, giving the material a soft and flexible feel. But on impact, the molecules lock together to absorb and dissipate energy. The stronger the impact, the more the molecules react, offering you unparalleled protection from slashes and blocked shots. And after the impact occurs, the molecules return to their free-flowing state for the comfortable feel you expect from high-end gloves.

D3O is combined with PE foams and PE inserts to offer premium protection in the fingers and backhand. By using high-end materials in these key areas, CCM ensures the 9080 gloves will have improved impact absorption properties, helping to disperse energy from all types of on-ice impacts. CCM also includes their pro flex thumb on the Tacks 9080 (only in the senior model). This two-piece construction increases mobility and offers excellent grip.

For the palm, CCM uses Clarino with Kevlar reinforcement, offering a comfortable feel that also provides excellent resistance to wear - a key factor for any pair of high-end gloves, especially to the players who skate 3-4+ times per week. And inside the 9080, a Polygiene-treated liner gives you some extra comfort while the antimicrobial treatment helps to fight against odor-causing bacteria.

The CCM Tacks 9080 gloves are an excellent option for players who want high-end protection and comfort from their gloves so they can perform their best, without paying top price.
