CCM has built the Tacks XF with its highly advanced One-Piece Boot Power technology, now featuring Game Ready Fit, just like the XF Pro. Designed for power and acceleration, the game-ready fit is an improved out-of-the-box comfort and fit, designed to take your performance to the next level.  

The boot is made with lightweight RFM composite and is engineered for the modern power skater with intense strides looking for explosiveness without restriction. The carbon composite wraps under the boot and because of this, energy is no longer lost or absorbed by a glued and nailed outsole, but instead is now transferred directly through the boot to the ice.

Another new feature in the XF skate, that was adopted from the FT6, is the ADPT comfort tongue. This tongue is lightweight with a metatomic fit and molded lace-bite protection for the perfect combination of fit and performance. 

An improvement on this year’s Tacks line is the tendon guard. CCM designed a tendon guard that gives you a better range of motion for a longer stride extension, faster skating speed. 

For optimal comfort, CCM has incorporated ADPT memory foam inside the skate and in the footbed. This memory foam is dense, giving you a customized feel as soon as you put on the skate. 

Helping with the custom feel is the Total Dri-Pro liner with responsive foam and polygiene. The Total-Dri Pro liner is a high-performance moisture wicking material that keeps your feet dry and skates light. The responsive foam hugs your feet throughout the boot. The polygiene is an antimicrobial treatment that fights odor and bacteria. 

Below the skate you’ll find CCM’s V-STEP Steel runner. This is the highest quality of steel, carefully polished to obtain mirror image for a sharper edge, superior glide and increased skating speed. 

Rounding out the XF skate is the Speedblade XS Holder with an enhanced dial. The dial on the quick-release holder is 136% larger than before due to its wider radius and improved geometry. The enriched texturization and premium materials give you a superior grip to change out your steel effortlessly.
