CCM uses a dual layer front construction with PE foam in the Tacks XF80 model, offering an anatomical fit with a lightweight and reliable design. This base jacket has everything a player would need to keep them protected at a competitive level. 

For enhanced shoulder coverage, the Tacks XF80 features JDP injected shoulder caps, made from lightweight PE plastic, for a high level of protection that helps disperse impacts away from your shoulder joints. 

CCM also places focus on protecting key areas of the body. Molded foam is used in the front and back panels of the torso, while the floating sternum with hybrid shield and molded plastic in the spine safeguards from impacts and falls. For more customized protection, CCM includes an adjustable bicep pad and removable belly pad. For comfort, a sublimated comfort liner is used, designed for maximum air flow and mobility. This liner keeps the pads light while you stay cool and dry throughout the game.
