From blocking slashes to absorbing heavy contact and hard falls, the CCM XR elbow pads are built to keep you protected through it all. Borrowing technology from the top-end model, the XR incorporates D3O Zero material throughout the pad for enhanced impact protection without sacrificing comfort or mobility.
 
In the elbow cap, CCM uses JDP technology to create a lightweight design that helps redirect impact force away from the elbow joint for better protection. Down through the forearm, D3O Zero is paired with a reinforced slash shield to deliver strong impact resistance and reliable coverage along the entire arm.
 
For the upper arm, CCM uses a 2-piece flex motion construction and sublimated liner for comfort and mobility, while also working in tandem with the Tacks shoulder pads to provide full coverage.
 
The Tacks XR elbows feature a bicep strap, dual pull middle lock strap and wraparound forearm strap for a locked in feel. These attachments are unique from each other but work well in this three-strap system, providing 360-degree surround strapping developed to maintain an excellent level of comfort while remaining secured in place.
