The Tacks XR Pro youth gloves include CCM’s trusted D3O smart material with multi-density foams in the fingers and backhand. D3O works by using a unique molecular structure which allows molecules to flow freely in standard conditions, giving the material a soft and flexible feel. On impact, the molecules lock together to absorb and dissipate impact energy.

 

The glove shell is constructed from ASD, a durable yet lightweight polyester mesh designed to enhance abrasion resistance without sacrificing mobility. CCM pairs this with two-piece fingers and a one-piece thumb to deliver excellent flexibility while helping protect against hyperextension by preventing the thumb from bending backward during contact.
