The XR70 has a one-piece quarter package boot and is crafted out of composite fiberglass material. This is designed for the modern power skater with intense strides looking for explosiveness without restriction. Players will get more direct energy transfer and a closer fit for more power.
 
The 7mm felt tongue features injected lace bite protection and wraps comfortably around the foot for a secure fit. CCM further enhances comfort with ADPT Memory Foam throughout the interior and footbed, allowing the skate to quickly conform to the foot's shape for a personalized fit and lasting support every time you hit the ice.
 
Rounding out this skate is the XS Speedblade holder and the CCM XS runner. This holder has a spring-lock system that tightly secures the blade to the holder and makes swapping out blades more efficient.

SENIOR Hockey Skates
Senior hockey skates are sized to fit adults and full grown teenagers with a Men's US shoe size of 8 or greater.

Intermediate Hockey Skates
Intermediate hockey skates are sized to fit kids in the range of approximately 10 to 13 years old with a US shoe size of 5 to 7.

JUNIOR Hockey Skates
Junior hockey skates are sized to fit kids in the range of approximately 8 to 10 years old with a US shoe size of 2 to 4.5.

YOUTH Hockey Skates
Youth hockey skates are sized to fit toddlers and young children in the age range of approximately 9 years old and younger with a US youth shoe size of 1.5 or smaller.

To find your hockey skate size, it's best to choose skates that are 2.5 to 3 sizes smaller than your women's shoe size. For example, if you wear a women's size 8 shoe, you'd need a size 5 or 5.5 skate.
