The 2026 TRUE Catalyst Nitro is designed for elite players seeking a perfect balance of power, mobility, and comfort. At the heart of the skate is TRUE’s all-new PWR Core Shell, featuring a co-molded PWR Core Cuff integrated with the PolyFusion shell construction. This innovative design combines the flexibility of PolyFusion materials with increased lateral support through the PWR Core Cuff, delivering the responsive boot flex high-performance players demand.
 
The Catalyst Nitro features several comfort-focused upgrades, including a refined toe box shape that provides additional width based on player feedback. Inside the boot, the Clarino liner offers excellent moisture management. Extended wear patches and reinforced high-friction zones further increase liner longevity in key contact areas.
 
To further enhance comfort, the Nitro is equipped with the new CAT Pro Tongue. Featuring low-friction wear patches along both the inner and outer top edges, the tongue is designed to withstand repeated use while maintaining its shape and performance. Position markers on the tongue allow players to consistently dial in their preferred tongue placement for a customized fit every time they lace up.
 
Performance continues with TRUE’s new SpeedShift holder and runner system. The SpeedShift holder delivers quick-release functionality and enhanced durability, while the premium steel runners feature Hyper-Polish finishing and a DLC coating for exceptional edge retention, glide, and long-lasting performance. Stainless steel rivets further enhance durability throughout the skate.
 
Additional updates include a new integrated tendon guard for a seamless fit and feel, durable PVC side panels that improve both aesthetics and longevity over previous PU leather materials, and a bold new four-bar visual design that gives the Catalyst Nitro a modern, premium appearance.

SENIOR Hockey Skates
Senior hockey skates are sized to fit adults and full grown teenagers with a Men's US shoe size of 7 or greater.

JUNIOR Hockey Skates
Junior hockey skates are sized to fit kids in the range of approximately 8 to 12 years old with a US shoe size of 2 to 6.5.

YOUTH Hockey Skates
Youth hockey skates are sized to fit toddlers and young children in the age range of approximately 9 years old and younger with a US youth shoe size of 1.5 or smaller.

To find your hockey skate size, it's best to choose skates that are 2.5 to 3 sizes smaller than your women's shoe size. For example, if you wear a women's size 8 shoe, you'd need a size 5 or 5.5 skate.
