The Warrior QR1 is brand new for 2014 and it is a milestone for Warrior sticks. The QR1 is the product of countless hours of research and design by Warrior which have proved extremely successful. Warrior has managed to knock a whopping 25 grams off of their previous stick models, including a 35% lighter blade! This means a couple of things: great feel, and quick release. The QR1 features Warrior's Dagger T2 taper which works in accordance with a super low kick point to provide the shooter with an unbelievably quick release. The fact that Warrior has been able to drop so much weight is unreal because they have actually reinforced the stick to make it even more durable! They have implemented reinforced corners that allowed them to drop the weight while almost doubling the strength. All it is going to take is holding the QR1 in your hands to let you know this stick is the real deal!

New question then... since this is an old model, what is the comparable most current Warrior stick?

Asked by: Chris4
The Warrior Covert QRL replaced the Covert QR1 stick. I would take a look at the QRL for a comparable model.

What CCM stick does this compare too?

Asked by: Chris4
The QR1 Grip Composite stick we have on sale is a 2014-15 model . CCM rebranded most of the sticks at the end of 2015 beginning of 2016 so not much to compare to in regards to weight flex and curve patterns .

ok how tall is this stick and if i weigh 117 lbs and am 5'5 should i go with 55 flex or 75 flex?

Asked by: silky hands
We advise players use a flex that is roughly half their body weight.

would a 70 flex stick work if i weigh around 140

Asked by: bergy
Yes if you don't need to cut it. Cutting it increases the stiffness.

What curve is most like the Bauer Stamkos?

Asked by: danglesnipeandcelly4
The W01 Lupul will be the most similar to a Stamkos

Which curve is like Bergeron?

Asked by: Adam91
CCM's Bergeron pattern does not have an exact match here. The W03 pattern will be a similar depth, but will have a more open face. The W71 will have a similar face but will be much deeper than CCM's P46.

Which curve is the closest to toews curve?

Asked by: AWV9
The Warrior curve that is closest to the Bauer P14 would probably be the W12 (Pavelski/Wisniewski), however that pattern is not available on this stick. For this stick's availability, it would probably be the Zetterberg W88, though it will seem a bit more shallow than the P14.

What pattern would be the one after Burrows for the curve?

I believe the Burrows has the least curve so what would be the next step up in terms of curve.
Asked by: Preston
I would recommend looking for a pattern with medium depth. There is not a specific curve that is the next level up from burrows. Each curve is unique!
