The Warrior Covert QRE 3 ice hockey glove lies at the axis of quality, performance, and affordability: what you get is incredible value with upgraded protection, performance, and feel. The QRE 3 promises the performance-level player more than a mere touch of top-notch bling.

• Cable knit nylon for high-wear areas
• Traditional nylon elsewhere for good breathability and flexibility
• Medium-density EVA with plastic reinforcements for excellent impact protection
• Dual-density cuff and cuff roll foams for mobility and flexibility
• AxyFlex thumb construction for protection and mobility
• SmartPalm design for durability and excellent stick control
• Microfiber liner for soft, dry comfort
• Mesh finger gussets for additional ventilation and dry comfort

The Covert QRE 3 includes two types of nylon on the glove’s exterior. The high-wear areas on the backhand, fingers, the outside of the pinky finger, the cuff, and the cuff roll are each constructed in Warrior’s cable knit nylon for exceptional durability. The rest of the glove features a traditional nylon that offers good breathability and flexibility for a broken-in feel right out of the box. The cuff roll also features an embroidered Warrior logo; the remaining graphics are understated but attractive, and screen printed onto the glove.

The QRE 3 is outfitted with medium-density EVA and dual-density foams throughout. The fingers, backhand, and the finger block benefit from beefed up EVA foams, and include plastic reinforcements for excellent protection through all common impact zones. The cuff and cuff roll are made with dual-density foams for solid impact protection, but also provide a high level of mobility in the wrist. Warrior uses its two-piece AxyFlex design in the thumb to give the player an impressive range of motion, but also to help prevent hyperextension.

The palm features Warrior’s SmartPalm model in a soft Clarino, with additional Clarino overlays for superior abrasion resistance. The SmartPalm design offers a balance between feel for the stick and glove durability. While the construction is beefed up, you’re not sacrificing anything in terms of performance, especially when you consider the two-piece finger design and the three-piece backhand construction.

The Covert QRE 3 comes with a soft-to-the-touch microfiber liner that wicks away moisture and sweat from the hands and wrists for a dry, comfortable feel. The fingers also include mesh gussets—a nice feature on a performance-level glove—for additional finger flexibility and to enhance the glove’s overall responsiveness. They also provide some nice ventilation and work with the microfiber liner to keep the hands and fingers dry.

The QRE 3 is classified as a tapered fit, which means it has a snug feel in the fingers and through the backhand but feels more relaxed and open in the cuff.

The Warrior Covert QRE 3 ice hockey glove is like a game-winning top-corner slap shot of performance and comfort. Add to that its appealing price, and you’ve got value that should excite any performance-level player.
