One of the new features you will notice when picking up this stick is the reduced weight. The HyperLite 2 comes in at 360g, which is 25g lighter than the HyperLite. Bauer was able to decrease weight, while still maintaining durability.

The XE taper, which is passed down from the HyperLite, is a taper design that uses a unique elliptical geometry with a thinner construction and more rounded edges. These features help the taper to thrive and improve the rocket release by 10%. That means you’re getting pucks to the top corner 10% faster than the HyperLite. 

Moving up the stick, Bauer includes their Asymmetrical TeXtreme shaft technology. This trusted material is lightweight and responsive with a more rectangular shape allowing energy to move fluidly down the stick when shooting. This technology also offers you a balanced feel for high performance.

To assist with balance and pop in the stick, the blade has been improved with HyperCore 2. This technology has thicker carbon bridges in a new orientation to create more snap and stability with every shot. 

The Vapor HyperLite 2 features Advanced Carbon Layering, or ACL technology, in both the shaft and blade. By using this high-end material throughout the stick, Bauer ensures the blade and shaft construction are both built to provide a lightweight and balanced feel. ACL works by using stronger, thinner internal carbon fiber layers, increasing the strength of the stick without adding unwanted weight.
